My favorite holidays

My favorite holidays were three summers ago when I went to Patagonia.
It all started when I bought a really cheap airplane ticket for 10 days to Balmaceda, a little town in Patagonia. I knew very few things about that place but I wanted so much to travel and the ticket was so cheap that I bought it. It was really exciting to have a solo trip to an unknown place.

When the time to travel had come, I didn't have much money so I had to do autostop to travel through Patagonia. It was a really pleasant time, i could walk alone by my own feeling the freezing wind all over my body and i could think a lot. Even if I was alone most of the trip, sometimes I met some people while I was autostopping or just walking by the cities, so we chatted and had some food or a "mate" together.

One of the baddest things of the trip was when I was going to Caleta Tortel, because was really far away from where I was. First, it was really hard to find a person who could take me, after a while I finally found little pick-up truck with a man who barely knew how to drive, so he went very slow all the way. A few kilometers later, he left me and I walked, waiting for another car. After a while another pickup truck took me, this time, I had to go in the pick-up part of the truck. It was heavy raining so i got really wet, then they left me half-way to Tortel.
I was walking (again) and it was starting to get dark,  a lot of cars didn't stop me, so I started to freak out, but after some kilometers, another pick-up truck took me and left me finally at Caleta Tortel.

Anyways, it was a very fun adventure.
